Bathroom Cabinet and Movement Guide

618 words · 4 min read · Illustrated guide

You reach the bathroom and instinctively try to hide behind the bath. Before settling there, look for Hidden: standing behind the bath does not put you inside a hiding place. The cabinet near the lower-right corner is the spot you can actually use. The bathroom is upstairs on the lower right, and learning its single cabinet gives you a quick final room check or a clear destination during hiding preparation.

Recognize the correct room and routes

Reach 2F and enter from the lower right-side corridor opening, or travel down from the study through the opening in the horizontal dividing wall. The bathroom shares the lower-right room position with the downstairs storage room, but its furniture is different. Check the floor label before searching for storage boxes that do not exist on this floor.

The bath lies toward the upper-left side of the bathroom and occupies a large part of the room. The supported cabinet is farther south and right. Approaching from the study can put the bath directly in your initial travel line, so route around it. You need to walk around the bath rather than through it. F does not move the object, open a shortcut, or turn it into a transport mechanism.

Check the cabinet accurately

The cabinet is near the lower-right corner of the bathroom. Approach from the open floor above it and watch for the named prompt. As a seeker, press F once and check the result. The mark confirms that you completed the room’s only search. If it is empty, you can leave for your next destination instead of walking around the bath in case it conceals another interactive place.

If the round still has undiscovered hiders, continue to other rooms rather than circling the bath or checking every wall. AI hiders were assigned to distinct usable spots at the start and do not move in seeker mode. They cannot decide to occupy the bath after you clear the cabinet. The correct response to an empty bathroom is a deliberate next destination, not an increasingly detailed search of scenery.

Confirm you are inside the cabinet

As a hider, press F when the cabinet prompt is showing, then confirm Hidden. Your faded picture is the sign that you entered successfully. Walking behind the bath without that confirmation leaves you outside a hiding place. If a previous round ended there, try the cabinet early during preparation and notice the difference. Learning that visible confirmation is more useful than looking for a corner that merely feels sheltered.

Leaving the cabinet returns you to the open floor above the bathroom cabinet, after which normal movement applies. Your route to the corridor must avoid the cabinet and bath. You can alternatively work north toward the study connection if that fits your plan. Neither exit makes a guaranteed safe relocation, since seekers can occupy other parts of the floor or inspect a nearby target while you are exposed.

Use the room as a final checklist item

In a complete upstairs seeker circuit, the bathroom often makes a convenient final room after the study. Check the cabinet, then return to the lower corridor. If you have already cleared every other usable spot and the game remains active, revisit your checklist rather than assuming a secret bathroom location. The total supported pool is twelve, with exactly one bathroom entry.

For a practical drill, make a one-hider seeker round and visit the bathroom early. Find the cabinet prompt without touching the bath, perform the check, and leave through the alternate entrance. Then practice the same travel as a hider during preparation, entering and leaving the cabinet once. This builds a dependable route around the largest obstacle in the room. The lesson transfers to the rest of the villa: visual cover, navigational obstacles, and actual hiding interactions are different things, and only the last one establishes hiding.
